The CHAR is a cutting edge innovative tool that was designed by two seasoned firefighters that work in one of the busiest fire departments in the Mid-West. The CHAR Tool features a curved head that will allow ease while punching holes in ceilings, a drop snoot that features griping teeth that will act as an anchor point on joist, foot steps for quick access climbing to the attic or self rescue, and a gas shut off.

Just like our helmets say "Firefighting is an inherently dangerous job" and the CHAR Tool is no exception. Due to these dangers the lawyers (Blood Suckers) make us list the below disclaimer. 

The CHAR Tool is not intended for household or personal use. The CHAR Tool is designed and developed for numerous applications for use by firefighters, law enforcement officers, tactical specialist, and providers of emergency, life saving and rescue services. The CHAR Tool is specifically designed as a tool for professionals with special and highly technical training in the use of life saving devices. The CHAR Tool has been designed to perform specific emergency and lifesaving functions, all of which require special training and instruction to safely utilize the CHAR Tool. The CHAR Tool is designed for use in lifesaving and emergency situations; all of which involve a high degree of risk in which the user must balance the risk posed by the application and specific use of the tool against the risk posed by the emergency or life-threatening circumstance.

Do not use the CHAR Tool unless you have been properly and professionally instructed in the safe use of the CHAR Tool in a variety of situations, conditions, and specific applications of the CHAR Tool. in order to minimize the risk of injury or death in the use of the CHAR Tool, the user must have adequate training in applying the CHAR to various types materials under a variety of circumstances and conditions. The user must understand building and structural design maters, materials, material resistance and tolerances in order to safely and properly minimize the risk of injury or harm in the use of the CHAR Tool. Misuse or improper use of the CHAR tool or use of the CHAR Tool without proper training may expose the user and others to substantial risk of injury or death and expose property and goods to substantial risk of damage.

 There are many other dangers and risk associated with the operation and use of the CHAR Tool that are not set forth herein and there may be dangers and risk not known or even reasonably foreseeable at this time. The user of the CHAR Tool fully accepts and assume all of the risk associated with the use and operation of the CHAR Tool, including any and all risk and dangers of bodily harm, permanent disability, death and/or dismemberment, and property damage to their user and others.

 The purchaser/user of the CHAR Tool hold harmless CHAR Firefighting Tools, LLC against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by the user or anyone on their behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by the user or by anyone else acting on the users behalf. If CHAR Firefighting Tools, LLC incurs any of these types of expenses, the user shall reimburse CHAR Firefighting Tools, LLC. The user of the CHAR Tool accepts all responsibility and releases CHAR Firefighting Tools, LLC and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives and agents of any responsibility for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of CHAR Firefighting Tools, LLC.
